Two International Place is a modern skyscraper in the Financial District neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The site is located on a site formerly known as Fort Hill. It is located blocks from North End, the waterfront, South Station, Downtown Crossing, and the Federal Courthouse. The building was designed by John Burgee Architects with Philip Johnson and completed in 1992, is Boston's ninth-tallest building, standing 538 feet (164 m) tall.
Millennium Place is a building complex located in the Downtown Crossing district of Boston, Massachusetts. The complex consists of Millennium Place Tower I and Millennium Place Tower II. The taller building of the two, Millennium Place Tower I, stands at 475 feet (145 meters) with 38 floors. It is currently the 21st-tallest building in Boston. The shorter building, Millennium Place Tower II, stands at 446 feet (136 meters) with 36 floors. It is currently the 24th-tallest building in the city.
111 Huntington Avenue (sometimes given the unofficial nickname "The R2-D2 Building" ) is one of Boston's newest skyscrapers and is part of the Prudential Center complex that also houses the Prudential Tower. Completed in 2002, the tower is 554 feet (169 meters) tall and houses 36 floors. The building is the tallest skyscraper built in Boston since 1987. 111 Huntington is Boston's eighth-tallest building. It won the 2002 bronze Emporis Skyscraper Award.
One Lincoln Street, also known as State Street Financial Center, is a skyscraper in Boston, Massachusetts on the edge of both the Financial District and neighborhood of Chinatown. Completed in 2003, it is was built using Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) guidelines. Standing at 503 feet (153 m) tall, One Lincoln Street is the 15th-tallest building in Boston. The skyscraper has a five-level underground garage that provides parking for 900 cars.
Russia Wharf is a high-rise building under construction in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. The building will stand at 395 feet (120 m) with 33 floors. Construction began in 2007, and the building is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010. Upon completion, it will stand as the 31st tallest building in the city. The architectural firm that designed the building is Childs Bertman Tseckares Inc., of Boston, Massachusetts. The civil engineering firm is Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc.
101 Clarendon Street, also known as Columbus Center, is a proposed skyscraper planned for Boston, Massachusetts. If completed, it would stand as the 25th-tallest building in Boston. Continuing on the trend established by the Prudential Tower in 1964, the completed building will conceal more of the Massachusetts Turnpike by utilizing air rights above it.
Nashua Street Residences is an approved high-rise building approved for construction adjacent to North Station and TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The building will stand at 415 feet (127 meters) with 37 floors. Construction was slated to begin in late 2007, and scheduled to be completed by 2008, but the project has since stalled. Upon completion, it will stand as the 26th-tallest building in the city.

If completed, South Bay Tower would stand as the tallest building in Boston, Massachusetts, and New England, surpassing the 60-story John Hancock Tower by 7 stories and at least 10 feet (3.0 m). However, the building would not surpass Trans National Place, another tall skyscraper proposal for Boston that was scheduled to be completed in 2011.
Trans National Place, also known as 115 Winthrop Square, is a proposed supertall skyscraper in Boston, Massachusetts. Original designs were completed by architect Renzo Piano, who later left the project in March 2007. Trans National Place was intended to stand as the tallest building in Boston, Massachusetts, and New England, surpassing the 60-story John Hancock Tower by 15 stories and at least 210 feet (64 meters) to become the tallest building in the city.
