As part of this project, Turner Park’s green space will be expanded to include more than seven acres.

RiverFront Place Condos is a new condo development located along the riverfront in Downtown Omaha, NE. It consists of two condo towers anchored by two rows of town homes. Tower one, completed in 2006, is 12 stories tall and holds 36 units. Tower two began construction in 2009 and will be 15 stories tall. There are 18 contemporary town homes that were completed in 2006. The development features a large green space and is adjacent to the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge and Gallup University Campus.

The Roman L. Hruska Federal Courthouse is a 350,000 sq ft Federal Courthouse located at 111 S. 18th Plz. in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Completed in 2000, the six story courthouse serves the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, and features 9 courtrooms and a central atrium; built at a cost of $70 million. It was dedicated Oct 24th, 2000 in front of an audience of over 400 people. The courthouse was built on the site of the former Hotel Fontenelle which was razed in 1983.

Built in 1925 the building was originally built as the headquarters for The Scoular Company, which it currently still houses. The building was first renovated in 1988, when a new glass lobby with marble staircase was added.

The Union Pacific Center at 1400 Douglas Street is one of downtown Omaha, Nebraska's newest high-rise buildings. It houses the headquarters of the Union Pacific Railroad and its parent company, the Union Pacific Corporation. It officially opened in June 2004 and rises 317 ft (97 m) making it the fourth tallest building in Omaha. The old headquarters located directly across the street, was torn down in 2008 to make way for the new WallStreet Tower Omaha.

The building will be built on the site of the former Union Pacific headquarters, located at 14th and Dodge Street. Prices for a unit range from $195,000-$620,000. The project was expected to be completed by Fall 2009, although, it is now expected to begin construction at that time. . The plan previously consisted of 192 condos, but has now dropped to 96.

The Woodmen Tower is a 478-ft (146-m) high-rise building at 1700 Farnam Street in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, and is the headquarters of the Woodmen of the World insurance company. Originally completed in 1969, the Woodmen rises 30 stories. It was the tallest skyscraper in Omaha for over 30 years, until the construction of the First National Bank Tower.
