Plaza on Brickell is an urban development in the City of Miami, Florida, United States. The complex consists of two skyscrapers and a retail center at the base, connecting the two towers. The towers completed construction in late 2007. The Plaza on Brickell Tower I, the taller of the two buildings, rises 610 feet (190 m) and 56 floors. The Plaza on Brickell Tower II is 525 feet (160 m) tall, and has 48 floors. The two towers, although different in height, are twin towers in design.

The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton is a luxury residential skyscraper in Center City in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At 518 feet (158 m), the 48-story skyscraper is the tenth-tallest building in Philadelphia, and the tallest residential tower in the city. The building was erected on the former site of One Meridian Plaza which was seriously damaged by a deadly fire in 1991. One Meridian Plaza was demolished in 1999 and the property was sold by E/R Partners to the Arden Group the next year.

The Riverfront West Complex is an urban development in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The complex is located on the north bank of the Miami River in Miami's Central Business District. The complex contains three main towers, Mint at Riverfront and The Ivy at Riverfront and Wind by NEO . The taller of the three, Mint, is currently the 6th tallest building in Miami and Florida. It has 55 floors and rises 631 feet (192 m). The Ivy at Riverfront Tower opened in July, 2008.

Russia Wharf is a high-rise building under construction in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. The building will stand at 395 feet (120 m) with 33 floors. Construction began in 2007, and the building is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010. Upon completion, it will stand as the 31st tallest building in the city. The architectural firm that designed the building is Childs Bertman Tseckares Inc., of Boston, Massachusetts. The civil engineering firm is Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc.

The San Francisco Federal Building is a building designed by the architectural firm Morphosis. It is located at 90 7th Street on the corner of Mission and 7th Streets in South of Market, San Francisco. Thom Mayne of Morphosis designed the building using a concept of "resistance," juxtaposing gray concrete walls with custom, zig-zagged 9Wood wood ceilings. The building was expected to be completed in 2005, but construction issues and delays pushed the project completion to 2007.

The San Francisco Transbay development plan consists of three supertall skyscrapers and ten other skyscrapers and highrises proposed in San Francisco. The towers are proposed to fund the replacement of the San Francisco Transbay Terminal in the South of Market neighborhood near the Financial District. The supertalls comprise only three of the 13 towers of the Transbay Project. Five of the 13 towers are part of Renzo Piano's complex and the other eight are Transbay Towers.

The Seattle Civic Square is a proposed 520ft (159m) tall skyscraper in Seattle, Washington. It will be completed in 2011 and have 40 floors. The top 17 floors will consist mainly of condominiums, with the lower 23 floors being used as office space. It has been designed to live up to LEED Platinum standards. If built, the tower will be part of the Seattle Civic Center which includes the Seattle Municipal Tower and several smaller buildings.

South Bay Tower, also known as the Gateway Center, is a proposed skyscraper planned for Boston, Massachusetts. If completed, South Bay Tower would stand as the tallest building in Boston, Massachusetts, and New England, surpassing the 60-story John Hancock Tower by 7 stories and at least 10 feet (3.0 m). However, the building would not surpass Trans National Place, another tall skyscraper proposal for Boston that was scheduled to be completed in 2011.

Spring is a 43 story residential condominium in Austin, Texas. Opening and completed in 2009, Spring stands 132 m (433 ft) over west Austin. The building was designed by Morris Architects and Pentagram. It is the very first point tower in Austin, meaning it is tall and slender, combining a skyscraper with high-rise residence. Austin Energy has given Spring a green rating. The skyscraper features a handful of amenities. Many of these are located on the 5th floor.

Ten Museum Park is a residential skyscraper in the City of Miami, Florida, United States. It is located in northeastern Downtown, and forms part of the Biscayne Wall, a series of skyscrapers visible from Biscayne Bay along the west side of Biscayne Boulevard. It was designed by Chad Oppenheim of Oppenheim Architecture + Design. It was completed in early 2007, and opened for residential occupancy in mid-2007. The building is 585 feet (178 m) tall, and has 50 floors.
