One International Place is a modern skyscraper in the Financial District neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1987, it is Boston's fifth-tallest building, standing 600 feet (183 m) tall and housing 46 floors. The building is very prominent in the city's skyline, particularly when viewed from Boston Harbor. The building has three separate elements. These consist of the tower itself, as well as two smaller office buildings (27- and 19-stories).

Named for its main tenant, PPG Industries who initiated the project for its headquarters, the buildings are all of matching glass design consisting of 19,750 pieces of glass. The complex centers around One PPG Place, a 40-story office building. Groundbreaking ceremonies occurred on January 28, 1981.

The Williams Tower (formerly the Transco Tower) is a skyscraper located in the Uptown District of Houston, Texas. It was designed by architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee, in association with Houston-based Morris-Aubry Architects, and erected in 1983. The tower is among Houston's most visible buildings. The building is the 4th-tallest in Texas, the 22nd-tallest in the United States, and the 80th-tallest building in the world.
