About InterContinental Providence
The InterContinental Providence is a proposed skyscraper to be built in Providence, Rhode Island. The high-rise will primarily contain a 200-room InterContinental Hotel, but will also consist of residential and retail space. The building will contain 17 floors, and is scheduled to begin construction in late 2007. Carpionato Properties has been selected as the development firm for the project. If built, InterContinental Providence would likely become the 13th-tallest building in the city. However, official height figures have not yet been released.
