Barnes and Thornburg Building is a high rise in Indianapolis, Indiana. Designed by architect Daniel Burnham, it was completed in 1909 and has 17 floors. It is primarily used for office space and was added to Registered Historic Places in 1982. It is owned and occupied mainly by Barnes and Thornburg, LLP, a law firm. It was previously known as the Merchants National Bank Building. Most of the first floor is occupied by a Borders Book Store .

The Detroit Riverside Hotel, is an upscale high-rise hotel in downtown Detroit, Michigan. It is located across the street from Cobo Center and from 150 West Jefferson, as well as neighbouring Hotel Fort Shelby to the south. The building was constructed in 1965 to a height of 25 floors (75 metres, or 245 feet). It contains 367 rooms, and is used as a hotel, restaurant, and fitness center.
