345 California Center is a 48 story office tower located in the heart of the San Francisco financial district. Completed in 1986, the 211.8 m (695 ft) tower is the third-tallest in the city after the Transamerica Pyramid and 555 California Street, and was originally proposed at 30 m (98 ft) taller. 345 California is located in the middle of a block with four historic buildings on each of the four corners.
330 North Wabash (formerly IBM Plaza also known as IBM Building) is a skyscraper in downtown Chicago, Illinois, at 330 N. Wabash Avenue, designed by famed architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (who died in 1969 before construction began). A small bust of the architect by sculptor Marino Marini is displayed in the lobby. The 52-story building is situated on a plaza overlooking the Chicago River.
