The Maccabees Building is a historic building located in Midtown Detroit, at 5057 Woodward Avenue. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is a part of Wayne State University. The 14 floor central section is rectangular and stands at 197 feet (60 m) in height. Attached to each corner of the building is a 10 story tower, giving the overall building the shape of an "H".

Cadillac Tower is a Beaux Arts skyscraper designed by the architectural firm of Bonnah & Chaffee located at 65 Cadillac Square in downtown Detroit, Michigan, not far from the Renaissance Center. The building's materials include terra cotta and brick. It was built in 1927 as the Barlum Tower and has 40 floors, including two below ground. At the top of the tower is a tall guyed mast for local radio station WJLB. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Leland Building, 400 Bagley St., Detroit, Michigan, (formerly known as "Ramada Inn Downtown Detroit"), is a high-rise tower. The tower was constructed in 1926 and completed in 1927 stands at 20 stories in height. The building has 9 elevators, and 120 units/rooms. The Ramada Inn Downtown Detroit was used as a hotel, apartment building, and restaurant, along with some space for commercial use.

The New Cadillac Square Apartments is a high-rise residential apartment building, standing at 111 Cadillac Square on the intersection with Bates Street in Detroit, Michigan. Construction on the building was started in 1926 and finished in 1927. It was built in the Beaux-Arts architectural style, and consists of terra cotta as its main material. It stands 21 floors and has 224 units/rooms, including a restaurant.

One Ten Westminster was a proposed high-rise project in Providence, Rhode Island that was canceled in late 2007. Located at the address 110 Westminster Street, the 40-story 520-foot (158m) One Ten would have contained luxury condominiums and claimed the title of the tallest building in Providence, supplanting the 26-floor Bank of America building that was finished in 1927, and would have been the tallest residential building in New England.

The Greater Penobscot Building, commonly known as the Penobscot Building, is a skyscraper in downtown Detroit, Michigan, United States. Rising 566 feet (172.3 m), the 47-story Penobscot was the tallest building in Michigan from its completion in 1928 until the construction of the Renaissance Center's central tower in 1977. The tower has 2 basement floors, and 45 above-ground floors, for a total of 47. The building is located in the heart of the Detroit Financial District.

The Fisher Building (1928) is an ornate class-A skyscraper in the New Center area of Detroit, Michigan, United States constructed of limestone, granite, and marble. Financed by the Fisher family with proceeds from the sale of Fisher Body to General Motors, the structure was designed to house office and retail space. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark on June 29, 1989. The building also contains the 2,089 seat Fisher Theatre.

The Industrial-Stevens Apartments (formerly the "Industrial Building Apartments") in downtown Detroit, Michigan is a high-rise built in 1928. It is located at 1410 Washington Boulevard, and occupies the building block bordered by West Grand River Avenue and Washington Boulevard. The residential building stands 22 storeys tall, with 21 above-ground floors, and one basement level. Architect Louis Kamper designed the Book Tower and the Industrial-Stevens (right) both of which are pictured.

The David Broderick Tower is a skyscraper in Detroit, Michigan that is under redevelopment with an expected completion date in 2010. Construction began in 1926, and was completed in 1928. The tower was the second tallest building in Michigan when it was completed in 1928. It stands 35-stories tall, with two basement floors. The building is designed with Neo-classical architecture, Chicago school, and Beaux-Arts designs. Limestone is a prominent material in the building's surface.

The Water Board Building is an Art Deco high-rise office building in downtown Detroit, Michigan, located at 735 Randolph Street. It was constructed in 1928 and stands at 23 stories tall. It was built using the Art Deco architectural style, and its materials include granite, limestone, marble, and terra cotta. The building was designed by Louis Kamper.
