200 West Street is a 740-foot (230 m) tall, 43-story building that opened in January 2010 in the Battery Park City neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City USA. It is the global headquarters of Goldman Sachs. It is located on West Street, between Vesey and Murray Streets. It is adjacent to the World Financial Center and the Embassy Suites hotel, across the street from the Verizon Building, and diagonally opposite the World Trade Center site and One World Trade Center.
The 43-story New Yorker Hotel (481 Eighth Avenue, New York City) was built in 1929 and opened its doors on January 2, 1930. It was designed by the architectural firm of Sugarman and Berger. Much like its contemporaries, the Empire State Building (opened in 1931) and the Chrysler Building (opened in 1930), the New Yorker is designed in the Art Deco style that was popular in the 1920s and 1930s.
One Detroit Center, also known as Comerica Tower at Detroit Center after its tenant, is a skyscraper and class-A office building located downtown which overlooks the Detroit Financial District. Rising 619 feet (189 m), the 43-story tower is the tallest office building in Michigan, and the second tallest overall in the state behind the central hotel tower of the Renaissance Center, located a few blocks away.
1 Lincoln Plaza is a mixed-use, commercial and luxury residential condominium building in New York City with 43 floors and 671 units. Construction began in 1971. The building is in the heart of the Lincoln Center neighborhood. Completed and ready for occupancy in 1974, the building is divided into eight floors of commercial space and 36 floors of luxury residential apartments.
Spring is a 43 story residential condominium in Austin, Texas. Opening and completed in 2009, Spring stands 132 m (433 ft) over west Austin. The building was designed by Morris Architects and Pentagram. It is the very first point tower in Austin, meaning it is tall and slender, combining a skyscraper with high-rise residence. Austin Energy has given Spring a green rating. The skyscraper features a handful of amenities. Many of these are located on the 5th floor.
The Murano is a residential skyscraper in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Part of a condominium boom occurring in the city, the Murano was announced in 2005 and was developed jointly by Thomas Properties Group and P&A Associates. The building, named after Murano, Italy, was completed in 2008 at a cost of US$165 million. The blue glass and concrete, 43-story, 475 feet (145 m) skyscraper was designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and Associates.
The Paramount, or 680 Mission Street at Third is a 40-story rental-apartment tower that is located in South of Market just outside of the Financial District on Mission Street in San Francisco. Construction of the 420-foot (128-m) tower was completed in 2002. At its time of completion in 2002, the building was the tallest concrete-framed located in Seismic Zone 4. It was also the tallest all-residential building in San Francisco from 2002 to 2008.
The Victory Tower, also referred to as Mandarin Oriental Dallas Hotel & Residences, is a skyscraper under on-hold status in the new Victory Park neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. The building is the tallest structure under construction in the city, and is the only building planned to rise over 400 feet (122 meters) under construction in Dallas. Upon completion, the Victory Tower would stand as the 8th-tallest building in the city, rising to a height of 650 feet (198 m) with 43 floors.
