The Allerton Hotel is a 25-story 360 foot (110 m) hotel skyscraper along the Magnificent Mile in the Near North Side community area of Chicago, Illinois. It was the first building to feature pronounced setbacks and towers resulting from the 1923 zoning law. The building was designated a Chicago Landmark on May 29, 1998. When the Allerton first opened, it had fourteen floors of small apartment-style rooms for men and six similar floors for women, with a total of 1,000 rooms.

The American Radiator Building (since renamed to the American Standard Building) is a landmark skyscraper located at 40 West 40th Street, in midtown Manhattan, New York City. It was conceived by the architects John Howells and Raymond Hood in 1924 and built for the American Radiator and Standard Sanitary Company. The structural form is based on Eliel Saarinen's unbuilt competition entry for Chicago Tribune building. The architects combined Gothic and modern styles in the design of the building.

The American Tract Society Building is located at 150 Nassau Street in the Civic Center area of the New York City borough of Manhattan. The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the American Tract Society Building as a landmark on 01999-06-15 June 15, 1999. The building was constructed from 1894 - 1895 and is one of the earliest examples of steel-frame skyscrapers in Manhattan. It was designed by the architect R. H.

The Ames Building is a skyscraper located in Boston, Massachusetts. It is sometimes ranked as the tallest building in Boston from its completion in 1893 until 1915, when the Custom House Tower was built. However, the building was never the tallest structure in Boston. The steeple of the Church of the Covenant, completed in 1867, was much taller than the Ames Building.

The AT&T Building is a 265 ft (81 m), 16-story skyscraper in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It was the tallest structure in downtown Omaha until the Woodman Tower and later First National Tower surpassed it in height. The original 15 story building was built in 1918, a twelve story addition was added on the north end in 1957 and another on the west end in 1964. An additional story was added in 1970 to bring it to sixteen stories.

The Auditorium Building in Chicago, Illinois, is one of the best-known designs of Dankmar Adler and Louis Sullivan. Completed in 1889, the building is located on South Michigan Avenue, at the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Congress Parkway. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1975. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on September 15, 1976. In addition, it is a historic district contributing property for the Chicago Landmark Historic Michigan Boulevard District.

The Bank of America Building (also called Oakland Bank Building and Oakland Bank of Savings) is a high-rise located in downtown Oakland, California. It stands at 225 feet (69 m) tall. Originally built as a 9-story building, a 18-story section was later added.

The Bank of America Building, located at the corner of East Baltimore and Light Streets in the downtown area of Baltimore, Maryland, at 505 feet (155 meters) was the tallest building in the state when built in 1924. Designed by the firm of Taylor and Fisher, the Mayan Revival and Art Deco building was built as the Baltimore Trust building in eighteen months from Indiana sandstone and local brick over a steel frame at a cost of $3 million.

The Bank of America Building () is the tallest building in the city of Providence and the state of Rhode Island, and the 28th tallest in New England. Standing at 428 feet (130 m) and comprising 26 floors, it was the third tallest building in New England when completed, behind the Travelers Tower in Hartford, CT and the Custom House Tower in Boston.. The building was built as the Industrial Trust Tower in 1927, and designed in the Art Deco style popular at the time.

Barnes and Thornburg Building is a high rise in Indianapolis, Indiana. Designed by architect Daniel Burnham, it was completed in 1909 and has 17 floors. It is primarily used for office space and was added to Registered Historic Places in 1982. It is owned and occupied mainly by Barnes and Thornburg, LLP, a law firm. It was previously known as the Merchants National Bank Building. Most of the first floor is occupied by a Borders Book Store .
