The Lafayette Park development is a large park and complex of apartments and housing cooperatives just east of downtown Detroit, Michigan. The area is part of the Mies van der Rohe Residential District listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The 78-acre (320,000 m) urban renewal project was originally called the Gratiot Park Development.

Montecito Apartments is a large apartment building in Hollywood, California, USA. It was built in 1935 in the zig-zag Art Deco style and was the home for many Hollywood celebrities, including James Cagney, Mickey Rooney and Montgomery Clift. It was also Ronald Reagan’s first home when he moved to Hollywood in 1937. In 1985, the building was converted to a low-income housing project for senior citizens. The building was built in 1935 with 95 units at a cost of $1 million.

The Banks is the name given to the current mixed-use project being developed on the land between the Paul Brown Stadium and the Great American Ballpark along the Ohio River in Cincinnati, Ohio. The construction for a new riverfront area between the two stadiums is the result of a public participation planning process begun in October 1996.

The James A. Rhodes State Office Tower is a 629-foot (192 m) skyscraper located in Columbus, Ohio. The Rhodes Tower was completed and occupied in 1974, and is currently the tallest building in Columbus. Currently, approximately 4000 state employees work in the building. Construction costs totaled approximately $66 million. It is named after Ohio's longest serving governor, James A. Rhodes.

The JPMorgan Chase Building, formerly the Gulf Building, is in Downtown Houston, Texas, United States. It is one of the preeminent Art Deco skyscrapers in the southern United States. Completed in 1929 it remained the tallest building in Houston until 1963, when the Exxon Building surpassed it in height. The building has the Houston headquarters of JPMorgan Chase Bank, and it was formerly the headquarters of Texas Commerce Bank. Jesse H.

The David M. Dennison Building is a building located on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The building is located at 500 Church Street. It was built in 1963 by Albert Kahn, and stands twelve stories in height. It is a brick building with a modern style. Twelve floors are above-ground, and there is one basement floor. The high-rise is used mainly for undergraduate education, particularly physics and mathematics.

Bryson Apartment Hotel is an historic 110,000-square-foot (10,000 m) ten-story apartment building on Wilshire Boulevard in the MacArthur Park section of Los Angeles, California. Built in 1913 in the Beaux Arts style, it was one of the most luxurious residential buildings in Los Angeles for many years. The building is also closely associated with the city's film noir history, having been featured in Raymond Chandler's works and the 1990 neo-noir The Grifters.

The Justice Center Complex is a building complex located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio that opened in 1976. It consists of the Cleveland Police Headquarters Building, the Cuyahoga County and Cleveland Municipal Courts Tower, and the Correction Center. It occupies a city block bounded by Lakeside Avenue, Ontario Street, West 3rd Street, and St. Clair Avenue. The Lakeside Avenue entrance faces the Cuyahoga County Court House, erected in 1912.

Cobo Center, originally known as Cobo Hall, is a major convention center situated along Jefferson Ave. in downtown Detroit, Michigan, USA. It and the adjacent Cobo Arena are named for Albert E. Cobo, mayor of Detroit from 1950 to 1957. Designed by Gino Rossetti, both Cobo Hall and Cobo Arena opened in 1960. Expanded in 1989, the present 2,400,000 sq ft (223,000 m) complex contains 700,000 sq ft (65,000 m) of exhibition space.

The Edgewater Beach Hotel was a hotel in the far-north neighborhood community of Edgewater in Chicago, Illinois. Built in 1916 and owned by John Tobin Connery and James Patrick Connery, it was located between Sheridan Road and Lake Michigan at Berwyn Avenue. The complex had a private beach and offered seaplane service to downtown Chicago.
