MainPlace is a 630 ft (192 m) tall skyscraper under construction in Downtown Houston, Texas. It will be completed in 2010 and have 46 floors. It has been pre-certified Silver LEED. When it is completed MainPlace will become the 15th tallest building in Houston and will feature a skygarden on the 39th floor. It is the tallest building built in Houston in 23 years, after the Heritage Plaza was completed in 1987.
One Financial Center is a modern skyscraper in the Financial District of Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1983, it is Boston's 7th-tallest building, standing 590 feet (180 meters) tall, and housing 46 floors. An unusual 90 ft (27 m) tall glass-roofed lobby, known as the atrium, occupies the first two stories. The remaining stories are offices, home to a number of law firms, Certified Public Accountants, and financial services companies.
One Houston Center is a 46-story office building located in Houston, Texas. It was built in 1978 and is located at 1200 block of McKinney Street. The building is 678 feet (207 m) tall. It was designed by Caudill Rowlett Scott. It is a part of the Houston Center complex. On November 22, 2005, Alain Robert, a French rock and urban climber nicknamed "Spider-Man", was arrested attempting to climb the building.
One International Place is a modern skyscraper in the Financial District neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1987, it is Boston's fifth-tallest building, standing 600 feet (183 m) tall and housing 46 floors. The building is very prominent in the city's skyline, particularly when viewed from Boston Harbor. The building has three separate elements. These consist of the tower itself, as well as two smaller office buildings (27- and 19-stories).
Tequesta Point is a complex of residential high-rises in downtown Miami, Florida. It consists of three skyscraper buildings located on Brickell Key, an urban island to the east of the Central Business District. Three Tequesta Point, the tallest of the three, was completed in 2001. It is 480 ft (146 m) tall, and has 46 floors. Two Tequesta Point, the central building of the complex, was completed in 1999. It is 410 ft (125 m) tall, and has 40 floors.
Announced in 2006, Trump SoHo New York or just Trump SoHo will be a $450 million, 46 story, 391 unit hotel condominium. The building is located at 246 Spring Street, between Varick Street and Sixth Avenue, a few blocks west of the SoHo neighborhood in New York City. This is a region zoned for manufacturing, which precludes permanent residences. The condo-hotel design was approved after negotiations with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
