It was used as the facade of the fictional "Pemrose building" in the 1987 film The Secret of My Success, as well as the fictional "Clamp Tower" in the 1990 film Gremlins 2.

The tower has an estimated completion date of 2009. 31st Park is a part of the recent Manhattanization wave that is taking place throughout Miami. The tower is currently going through the approval process, and final designs have not yet been released.
