100 Montgomery Street also known as the Equitable Life Building is an office tower located in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The 108 m (354 ft) 25-floor tower was completed in 1955, and served as headquarters to the Equitable Life Insurance Company. Designed by William Peugh, 100 Montgomery Street is one of the first post-World War II office buildings in San Francisco, distinguished by classical white marble facade against aluminum art-deco window framing.

The Metro Tower originally known as the Great Plains Life Building is an office skyscraper located in Lubbock, Texas. Completed in 1955, it is the tallest building in Lubbock at 274 feet (84 meters) high, and has 20 floors. It was originally known as Great Plains Life Building after the insurance company that first occupied the building. Following the 1970 Lubbock tornado all businesses pulled out and it was left in a decrepit state.

At the time, the skyscraper was significant as the first new downtown skyscraper built in Chicago in 21 years (the last such building was the Field Building, now headquarters of LaSalle Bank, completed in 1934).
