Goldman Sachs Tower (30 Hudson Street) is a Goldman Sachs office tower in Jersey City, New Jersey. It is the tallest building in New Jersey, and the tallest in the United States of any building not in its metropolitan area's largest city. The tower has 42 floors and is 238 m (781 feet) tall. The tower was designed by Cesar Pelli, who also designed the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, One Canada Square in London and the Key Tower in Cleveland.

Heritage Plaza is a skyscraper located in the Skyline District of downtown Houston, Texas. Standing at 762 feet (232 meters), the tower is the 5th tallest building in Houston, the 8th tallest in Texas, and the 60th tallest in the United States. The building, designed by Houston-based M. Nasr & Partners P.C., was completed in 1987, with 53 floors. Heritage Plaza completed construction in early 1987.

The IDS Center (80 S 8th St) is the tallest building in the state of Minnesota at 792 feet (241.4 m). Opened in 1974 as the IDS Centre, it stood 775 feet 6 inches (236.4 m), though a 16-foot (4.9 m) garage for window washing equipment was added at a later date. In 1992, the 776-foot (236.5 m) tall First Bank Place, now known as the Capella Tower, was completed nearby.

Indiana Tower was the proposed centerpiece of White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. Designed by César Pelli in 1980, the plan was ultimately scrapped. As part of the downtown revitalization campaign for Indianapolis, the state solicited designs for a distinctive piece of skyline architecture in the tradition of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis or the Space Needle in Seattle.

Infinity II will be a skyscraper in the City of Miami, Florida, United States. It will be located in Downtown's southern Brickell Financial District, and will rank in the top ten tallest buildings in Miami. When completed, it will be 736 feet (224 m) tall, and will have 65 floors. The building will contain 21,450 square feet (1,993 m) of Class A office space, and will have 11,568 square feet (1,075 m²) of retail, which will occupy the lower floors of the building.

John Hancock Center at 875 North Michigan Avenue in the Streeterville area of Chicago, Illinois, is a 100-story, 1,127-foot (344 m) tall skyscraper, constructed under the supervision of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, with chief designer Bruce Graham and structural engineer Fazlur Khan. When the building topped out on May 6, 1968, it was the tallest building in the world outside New York City.

The John Hancock Tower officially named, Hancock Place and colloquially known as The Hancock, is a 60-story, 790-foot (241 m) skyscraper in Boston. The tower, the tallest in the city, was designed by Henry N. Cobb of the firm now known as Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and was completed in 1976. In 1977, the American Institute of Architects presented the firm with a National Honor Award for the building.

The 75-story, 1,002-foot (305 m) tall JPMorgan Chase Tower of Houston, Texas, formerly the Texas Commerce Tower, is the tallest building in Houston, the tallest building in Texas, the tallest five-sided building in the world, and is the 48th tallest building in the world. The tower was built in downtown Houston at 600 Travis Street in 1981 as the Texas Commerce Tower. It was designed by noted architects I. M. Pei & Partners. The local architect and architect of record is 3D/International.

Chase Tower is a 55-story 738 feet (225 m) postmodern skyscraper at 2200 Ross Avenue in the City Center District of downtown Dallas, Texas. Although it is the fourth tallest skyscraper in the city, if one were to exclude antennas and spires, it would be the third. It is also the 12th tallest building in Texas. The building was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and was completed in 1987.

Key Tower is a skyscraper on Public Square in downtown Cleveland, Ohio designed by architect César Pelli. It is the tallest building in both the city of Cleveland and the state of Ohio, the 18th tallest building in the United States, and the 59th tallest building in the world. The top of the spire is the highest manmade point in the state of Ohio. The building reaches 57 stories or 948 feet (289 m) to the top of its spire, and it can be visible for up to twenty miles away.
