The Sohmer Piano Building (or Sohmer Building) is an 1897 Beaux-Arts building located at 170 Fifth Avenue at 22nd Street, in the New York City borough of Manhattan, just southwest of the Flatiron Building. Designed by Robert Maynicke, it is easily recognizable by its gold dome. Sohmer & Co.

The South Ferry Plaza, also called A Lighthouse At The Tip Of The Island, was a supertall skyscraper proposed to rise right next to the East River on Manhattan Island in New York City. The building would have sat on top of the South Ferry terminal and tower 1,084 ft (330 m) above street level, with 60 stories of office space. It was designed by architect Fox & Fowle Architects and Leslie E. Robertson Associates.

St. Regis Museum Tower is a highrise in the South of Market district of San Francisco, California, adjacent to Yerba Buena Gardens, Moscone Center, PacBell Building and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The 42-storey, 484 ft (148 m) tower is bounded by Mission Street, 3rd Streets and is operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. The hotel recently attained five-star status. The tower was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and constructed by Webcor Builders.

State Street Bank Building, also known as 225 Franklin Street, is a high-rise building located in the Financial District, Boston, Massachusetts. The building stands at 477 feet (145 meters) with 33 floors, and was completed in 1966. It is tied with 33 Arch Street as the 19th-tallest building in Boston. The architectural firm who designed the building was F.A. Stahl & Associates.

The Sterick Building is an office building in Memphis, Tennessee. It was designed by Wyatt C. Hedrick & Co., and was completed in 1930—its name is a contraction of the original owners' names R.E. Sterling and Wyatt Hedrick. It is a gothic-style tower, 111 m (365 ft) tall with 29 floors. When it opened it 1930 it was the tallest building in the South and was the tallest building in Tennessee until 1957. It is now the fifth-tallest building in Memphis.

One Summit Square is the tallest office building in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States, as well as the tallest reinforced concrete building in the state of Indiana. One Summit Square is a 27-story steel frame building standing at 134.7 m (442 ft). It was completed in 1982 and designed by the architects, Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo & Associates, to give the illusion of being two buildings, the adjoining tower housing the elevators.

The Superior Building, originally known as the Cleveland Discount Building, is a high-rise building in Cleveland, Ohio. The building rises 265 feet (81 m) in Downtown Cleveland. It contains 22 floors, and was completed in 1922. The Superior Building currently stands as the 26th-tallest building in the city. The architectural firm who designed the building was Walker & Weeks. The building's design incorporates a set of Doric columns in its base.

1180 Peachtree, commonly known as the Symphony Tower, is a 41-story skyscraper located at 1180 Peachtree Street in the Midtown district of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Rising to a height of approximately 657 feet (200 m), the building includes office and retail space in its 351,616 square meter of floor area as well as a 1,200 space parking deck. Construction was completed in 2006.

The TCW Tower is a 517ft (158m) tall skyscraper in Los Angeles, California. It was completed in 1990 and has 39 floors. It is 19th tallest building in Los Angeles, and was designed by Albert C. Martin & Associates.In 1990 it was awarded the 'Outstanding Structural Design Award' by the Los Angeles Tall Building Structural Design Council. The building is headquarters to the Trust Company of the West, an investment firm.
