Reliant Energy Plaza is a 518 ft (158m) tall skyscraper in Downtown Houston, Texas. It has the headquarters of Reliant Energy. The building has around 800,000 square feet (74,000 m) of space. It was constructed from 2001 to 2003 and has 36 floors. It is the 25th tallest building in Houston. It is made out of glass, steel, and concrete. Lights atop the building and on the main street side flash in patterns of various colors at night.

River East Center is a Chicago skyscraper that is a part of the larger River East complex. The tower, containing 620 condominium units, stands at 644 feet (196 m) with 58 floors, and was completed in 2001. The building, designed by DeStefano + Partners, originally called for spires atop of the roof on all sides that would have significantly raised the official height to 680 feet.

The Investment Building is a high-rise building in Washington, D.C. The building rises 13 floors and 154 feet (47 m) in height. The interior renovation & redesign of the building was by architect César Pelli; Pelli also designed the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur. The renovation was completed in 2001.

The Mark on Brickell is a residential high-rise building located south of the downtown region of Miami, Florida. Standing at 420 feet (128 meters), the building is currently the 46th-tallest building in the city (as of May 2008). The building is directly on the Biscayne Bay waterfront and its address is 1155 Brickell Bay Drive. The Mark on Brickell houses 36 floors, and was completed in 2001. The building's developer was the Related Group of Florida.

The Stovall is a 255 ft (78 m) tall high rise in Tampa, Florida. It was completed in 2001 and has 22 floors. J. Scott Architecture designed the building, which is the 17th tallest in Tampa.

Trump World Tower is a residential skyscraper at 845 United Nations Plaza (First Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets) in Manhattan, New York City. Construction began in 1999 and concluded in 2001. Designed by the architect Marta Rudzka, the building is 264 meters high and has 72 constructed floors (but lists 90 stories on elevator panels) with curtain wall facades of dark, bronze-tinted glass. The resulting large windows allow for extensive views of the East River and midtown Manhattan.

One North Wacker, formerly UBS Tower is a 199 m (653 ft) skyscraper located at One North Wacker Drive in Chicago, Illinois. The 50 story structure, started in 1999 and completed in the spring of 2002, was designed by Lohan Associates (now Goettsch Partners) with developer the John Buck Company to accommodate the needs of UBS groups such as UBS Warburg, UBS PaineWebber, UBS Global Asset Management and UBS O’Connor in a single building.
