University Towers is the name of a tall residential apartment building in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It stands at 536 South Forest Avenue. The building was constructed in 1965 and stands at 19 floors, with 240 units/rooms. The high-rise also contains a fitness center. It was designed in the international architectural style, using concrete and glass as its main materials.

As of 2008, the building still stands as the oldest of the surviving buildings of what was once "Newspaper Row" and is owned by Pace University The newspaper's first building was located at 113 Nassau Street in New York City.

The Flatiron Building is located in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, at the corner of Houston and West 9th streets. At the time of its completion in 1907 it was one of city's the first steel frame buildings and the tallest building in north Texas. Fort Worth's Flatiron Building was commissioned by local physician Dr. Bacon Saunders, who reserved the top floor for his offices, at a cost of $70,000.

Aston Park is a public park located in downtown Dallas, Texas, USA. The park is located on a triangle of land located between Pacific, Harwood and Live Oak in the City Center District. The park was dedicated in 1983 in honor of James W Aston, who was a prominent business leader and president of Republic National Bank in 1957. Originally called the City-County Building, it was renamed for former Detroit Mayor Coleman A. Young, after his death. The international style, high-rise building was constructed in 1951, and completed in 1954. It is 20 floors high, with one basement floor, for a total of 21.

The Penobscot Building Annex is a high-rise office tower in Detroit, Michigan, located on 144 West Congress Street which is physically connected to the Penobscot Building. It was built in 1913 and stands at 26 storeys tall, with three basement floors, and 23 above-ground floors. It is primarily used as an office building. It was designed in the Chicago School architectural style.

jLofts on the Market is a 6-story mid-rise, 51 unit, condominium project with street level retail and office space located at 1308 Jackson Street in the historic Old Market District in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. jLofts is the only new condo development built from the ground up in the Old Market. The building is located on 13th and Jackson Streets. The project is expected to be completed late 2009.

The Manhattan Building is a 16-story building at 431 South Dearborn Street in Chicago, Illinois. It was designed by architect William Le Baron Jenney and constructed from 1889 to 1891. It is the oldest surviving skyscraper in the world to use a purely skeletal supporting structure. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 16, 1976, and designated a Chicago Landmark on July 7, 1978.
