The Flatiron Building in Atlanta, Georgia, officially known as the English-American Building, is a flatiron building completed in 1897. The English-American Building is located at 84 Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, on the wedge-shaped block between Peachtree Street NE, Poplar Street NW, and Broad Street NW, also creating a one-block break in Williams Street. It was completed five years before New York's Flatiron Building, and shares a similar prominent flatiron shape as its counterpart.

The Heaviest Corner on Earth is a promotional name given to the corner of 20th Street and 1st Avenue North in Birmingham, Alabama, United States, in the early 20th century. The name reflected the nearly-simultaneous appearance of four of the tallest buildings in the South, the 10-story Woodward Building (1902), 16-story Brown Marx Building (1906), 16-story Empire Building (1909), and the 21-story American Trust and Savings Bank Building (1912).

The James R. Thompson Center (JRTC) is located at 100 W. Randolph Street in the Loop, Chicago, Illinois and houses offices of the State of Illinois. The building opened in May 1985 as the State of Illinois Center. It was re-designed in 1993 to honor former Illinois Governor James R. Thompson. The property takes up the entire block bound by Randolph, Lake, Clark and LaSalle Streets, one of the 35 full-size city blocks within Chicago's Loop.

Built in 1972, Harbor Point Condominiums is a residential and commercial building in Chicago, Illinois on Lake Michigan. The building has views of both Grant and Millennium Parks and sits on Chicago's Monroe Harbor.

Pacific Plaza Park will be a 3.0-acre (12,000 m) public park located in downtown Dallas, Texas, USA. The park will be located between St. Paul Street and Harwood Street, north of Pacific Avenue in the City Center District. The City of Dallas acquired the land—currently parking lots—with help from the Trust for Public Land. A timeline for construction of the $9 million park has not been set.

The Watermark Detroit project is one of three condo developments chosen to fill sites along the Detroit Riverfront once occupied by cement companies. The project, previously known as Chene West, is the first to reach a development agreement with the city. Detroit businessman, former Piston,and current Mayor of Detroit Dave Bing said construction of the buildings, which will house 112 units that include condos and town homes, is expected to be completed by 2009.

The Penobscot Block is a complex of office towers centered around the 45-story Penobscot Building at the corner of Griswold Street and West Fort Street in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. The other two buildings in the complex are the Penobscot Building (youngest of the three), Penobscot Annex, and The Penobscot Building (oldest of the three).

University Towers is the name of a tall residential apartment building in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It stands at 536 South Forest Avenue. The building was constructed in 1965 and stands at 19 floors, with 240 units/rooms. The high-rise also contains a fitness center. It was designed in the international architectural style, using concrete and glass as its main materials.

Las Vegas City Hall is the center of municipal government for the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is located downtown, with its main entrance on Stewart Avenue. It is cited as an example of 1960s modernist architecture. The original eleven-story central tower was completed in 1973. An addition was completed in 2003 which included a three story surround to the central tower.

The Merchants Building is a commercial building located at 206 E. Grand River Avenue (at Broadway Street) in Detroit, Michigan. It is also known as the Broadway Merchants Building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The Merchants Building was designed by Otto Misch in 1922 for John Barlum (who also constructed the Barlum Tower).
