For the building of the same name in Jacksonville, Florida, see The Aetna Building (Jacksonville) One Prudential Plaza (formerly known as the Prudential Building) is a 41-story structure in Chicago completed in 1955 as the headquarters for Prudential's Mid-America company. At the time, the skyscraper was significant as the first new downtown skyscraper built in Chicago in 21 years (the last such building was the Field Building, now headquarters of LaSalle Bank, completed in 1934).

400 East Randolph Street Condominiums or simply 400 East Randolph (formerly Outer Drive East) is a 40-story high-rise designed by Reinheimer & Associates. The building primarily consists of residential condominiums, though there are a couple businesses and restaurants located in the building. Located on East Randolph Street on the New Eastside in Chicago, the building sits between The Buckingham to its west and Harbor Point to its east.

The Palmolive Building, formerly the Playboy Building, is a 37-story Art Deco building at 919 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Built by Holabird & Root, it was completed in 1929 and was home to Colgate-Palmolive-Peet. The Palmolive Building came to be known as the Playboy Building when it was home to Playboy magazine from 1965 to 1989. During this time, the word P-L-A-Y-B-O-Y was spelled out in 9 feet (2.7 m) letters.

Park Michigan was a proposed 80 story skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois designed by Pappageorge/Haymes, Ltd. Its location is a street level parking lot at the northeast corner of Wabash Avenue and 9th Street. As part of the planned project, the former YWCA located at 830 South Michigan Avenue, also the official address of Park Michigan, would be gutted and turned into a restaurant.

Park Tower located at 800 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago (41°53′49″N 87°37′31″W / 41.89694°N 87.62528°W / 41.89694; -87.62528) is a skyscraper completed in 2000. At 844 feet (257 m) tall with 70 floors — 67 floors for practical use, it is the eleventh tallest building in Chicago, the 35th tallest building in the United States, and the eighty-third tallest in the world by architectural detail.

The Pittsfield Building, is a 38-story skyscraper located at 55 E. Washington Street in the Loop community area of Chicago, Illinois, USA, that was the city's tallest building at the time of its completion. The building was designated as a Chicago Landmark on November 6, 2002. The property, in the Jewelers' Row Landmark District, was developed by heirs of Marshall Field, and is named after Pittsfield, Massachusetts where Marshall Field obtained his first job.

The Powhatan or Powhatan Apartments is a 22-story luxury apartment building overlooking Lake Michigan and adjacent to Burnham Park in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The building was designed by architects Robert S. de Golyer and Charles L. Morgan. Much of the Art Deco detailing is attributed to Morgan. The exterior of the luxury-apartment highrise reflects Eliel Saarinen's second place design for the Tribune Tower competition of 1922.

Regents Park is a 1,026 unit, upscale apartment complex in the Indian Village section of the Kenwood community area of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, United States, and adjacent to the Hyde Park community area border. Bordering Harold Washington Park, its two parallel towers are just west of Lake Shore Drive, Burnham Park and Lake Michigan with clear park and lake views to the east and south.

The Reliance Building is the first skyscraper to have large plate glass windows make up the majority of its surface area, foreshadowing a feature of skyscrapers that would become dominant in the 20th century. It is located at 32 North State Street, Chicago, Illinois, and as of 2006 houses the Hotel Burnham. The Reliance building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970; and on January 7, 1976, it was designated a National Historic Landmark.

The Richard J. Daley Center, also known by its courtyard Daley Plaza and named after longtime mayor Richard J. Daley, is the premier civic center of the City of Chicago in Illinois. Situated on Randolph and Washington Streets between Dearborn and Clark Streets, the Richard J. Daley Center is considered one of Chicago's architectural highlights. The main building was designed in the international architectural style by Jacques Brownson of the firm C. F. Murphy Associates and completed in 1965.
