About Platinum on the Bay
Platinum on the Bay is an approved skyscraper in Miami, Florida. It was approved by the City of Miami and the Federal Aviation Administration in 2005, and the original developer sold the land and design in the summer of 2006. Construction began in August 2007 but was never finished. The building site is located in northern Midtown Miami, near the Wynwood district. It is a bayfront property, located on Northeast 7th Avenue between 29th and 30th Streets. When completed, the tower will rise 590 feet (180 m), with 56 floors. The building will contain residential units.
