The 4 star hotel is the bottom half of the 38 story building and the upper stories are the residents' homes. There are 119 condominiums in the top floors ranging from 900 to 4,000 square feet. The building was built throughout 2006 and 2007. Upon completion, it became the tallest building in Virginia, surpassing the James Monroe Building in Richmond.

Trans National Place, also known as 115 Winthrop Square, is a proposed supertall skyscraper in Boston, Massachusetts. Original designs were completed by architect Renzo Piano, who later left the project in March 2007. Trans National Place was intended to stand as the tallest building in Boston, Massachusetts, and New England, surpassing the 60-story John Hancock Tower by 15 stories and at least 210 feet (64 meters) to become the tallest building in the city.

The Trump International Hotel and Tower, also known as Trump Tower Chicago and locally as the Trump Tower, is a skyscraper condo-hotel in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The building, named after real estate developer Donald Trump, was designed by architect Adrian Smith of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Bovis Lend Lease built the 92-story structure, which reached a height of 1,389 feet (423 m) including its spire, its roof topping out at 1,170 feet (360 m).

Announced in 2006, Trump SoHo New York or just Trump SoHo will be a $450 million, 46 story, 391 unit hotel condominium. The building is located at 246 Spring Street, between Varick Street and Sixth Avenue, a few blocks west of the SoHo neighborhood in New York City. This is a region zoned for manufacturing, which precludes permanent residences. The condo-hotel design was approved after negotiations with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The building is home to INDIGO @ twelve | west apartments and ZGF Architects LLP. During design and construction the building was known as “12W” and “ZGF Tower”, but the name changed after a naming contest in July 2009. Initial plans included a hotel and a total of 31 floors, but they were revised after the hotel company withdrew.

University Club Tower is a condominium tower in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At 446 feet, the tower is the tallest residential building in Wisconsin and third tallest building overall, in Milwaukee (and Wisconsin). It is located in Milwaukee's East Town neighborhood adjacent to the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The originally planned tower was designed by Santiago Calatrava (who had just designed the Milwaukee Art Museum) in 2001 and was to have only 25 stories.
