Opened in 1990 near Monument Circle in Indianapolis, the Chase Tower (formerly known as the Bank One Tower and originally conceived as American Fletcher Tower) is the tallest skyscraper in Indiana. It surpassed the AUL Tower (now OneAmerica Tower) in Indianapolis for the distinction. The building's twin spires pierce 830 feet (253.0 m) into the Indianapolis skyline, while the 48 floors of office and retail space below peak at the 700 feet (214 m) roof.

Chicago Title & Trust Center is an office tower located in Chicago designed by the firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. The 50 story building rises 756 feet (230 m) in the Loop and was completed in 1992, on the site of Chicago's Greyhound Bus Station. One of the tower's most notable features is its eastern-facing slanted roof at upper levels. At night, the top of the building facing east and west is flooded with light, creating a memorable presence on the Chicago skyline.

The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco skyscraper in New York City, located on the east side of Manhattan in the Turtle Bay area at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue. Standing at 319 metres (1,047 ft), it was the world's tallest building for 11 months before it was surpassed by the Empire State Building in 1931.

City Tech Tower was a supertall skyscraper designed by Renzo Piano, which was proposed to rise at Jay and Tillary Streets in Downtown Brooklyn, New York City, but has since then been cancelled. The building would have stood 1,000 feet (305 m) tall and contain 65 floors for the New York City College of Technology and 600 units of housing. The building, at a height of 1,000 feet (305 m), would have been the tallest out of a proposed complex of five towers.

The CitySpire Center is the tallest mixed-use skyscraper in New York City, located on the south side of West 56th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues in Midtown Manhattan. Finished in 1987, it is 248 meters (814 ft) tall and has 75 floors, with a total of 359,000 square feet (33,400 m) of area. The building is owned by Tishman Speyer Properties. Designed by Helmut Jahn, it is the ninth-tallest building in New York City and the 39th tallest in the United States.

The Columbia Center (formerly the Bank of America Tower and the Columbia Seafirst Center) is the tallest skyscraper in the downtown Seattle skyline, as well as the tallest building in the State of Washington, and the Pacific Northwest region of North America. It occupies most of the block bounded by Fourth and Fifth Avenues and Cherry and Columbia Streets.

Columbus Centre is a proposed skyscraper planned for construction in the Coral Way neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The tower is one of several residential towers proposed for the city. With a planned height of 710 feet (216 meters), the building would stand as one of the tallest in Miami if completed. The tower has an estimated completion date of 2010, and would rise 56 floors. Columbus Centre is a part of the recent Manhattanization wave that is taking place throughout Miami.

Comcast Center is a skyscraper in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The 58-story, 975 feet (297 m) tower is the tallest building in Philadelphia and the fifteenth tallest building in the United States. Originally called One Pennsylvania Plaza when the building was first announced in 2001, the Comcast Center went through two redesigns before construction began in 2005. It will also contain 700 1st Avenue Tower 2, 700 1st Avenue Tower 1, 616 1st Avenue Tower 1, and 616 1st Avenue Tower 2.
