The Bank of America Plaza is a skyscraper located in the SoNo district of Atlanta, Georgia. Standing 1,023 ft (311.8 m), it ranks as the 36th tallest building in the world. When it first opened, it was the 9th tallest building in the world, and 6th tallest building in the USA. It is also the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere outside of Chicago and New York City, Georgia's tallest building, and the tallest building in any U.S. state capital.

It is currently the 8th tallest building in Miami and Florida. Built for CenTrust Savings & Loan in 1987, the 47-story building ranks in the top ten tallest skyscrapers in Miami and in Florida at a height of 625 feet (191 m) and is known for its elaborate night-time illuminations and its dramatic three glass tiers.

Standing at 428 feet (130 m) and comprising 26 floors, it was the third tallest building in New England when completed, behind the Travelers Tower in Hartford, CT and the Custom House Tower in Boston.. The building was built as the Industrial Trust Tower in 1927, and designed in the Art Deco style popular at the time.

Barnes and Thornburg Building is a high rise in Indianapolis, Indiana. Designed by architect Daniel Burnham, it was completed in 1909 and has 17 floors. It is primarily used for office space and was added to Registered Historic Places in 1982. It is owned and occupied mainly by Barnes and Thornburg, LLP, a law firm. It was previously known as the Merchants National Bank Building. Most of the first floor is occupied by a Borders Book Store .

The AT&T Building (formerly the South Central Bell Building and BellSouth Building, also known as the Batman Building) is a 617 ft (188 m), 33-story skyscraper completed in August 1994 and located in Nashville, Tennessee. The structure is designed as an office tower capable of housing 2,000 workers and as of 2008 is occupied by two companies. It is currently the tallest building in the state of Tennessee.

Located on the corner of Fifth and Main Streets and at 268 ft/82 m tall, the Blackstone Hotel is the tallest hotel in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. It is noted for its art deco with terra cotta ornament with setbacks on the top floors. The hotel was constructed in 1929, and sat vacant for nearly 20 years. The Blackstone Hotel guest list is full of notable people including Presidents of the United States ranging from President Harry Truman to President Richard Nixon.

The building was constructed in 1962, and was developed by Vincent Kling & Associates. The Hub Department Store was destroyed in order for this building to be built. .The Blaustein Building was constructed for the Blaustein, to move into a larger headquarters.

The Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island Headquarters is a LEED Certified high-rise project currently under construction in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The building is wedged in between the two Waterplace towers, at the intersection of American Express Plaza and Exchange Street.

The G. Fred DiBona Jr. Building, formerly known as the Blue Cross-Blue Shield Tower or IBX Tower, is a skyscraper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania housing the headquarters of Independence Blue Cross (the Blue Cross-Blue Shield affiliated organization in the five-county Philadelphia area). The tower was built between 1988 and 1990 and was designed by WZMH Architects, who also designed the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Eero Saarinen's CBS building in New York City inspired the design for this building. It was named after Houston mayor Bob Lanier who served between 1992 and 1998. The building is located one block from Houston City Hall and Hermann Square. It is bounded by Louisiana, Rusk, Smith, and Walker Streets.
